Tamarindo, Costa Rica
Bright and spacious four bedroom villa in a private beachfront community in Tamarindo.
Villa Monoi sits in a gated community with private beach access to Playa Langosta – a quieter surf spot adjacent to Tamarindo’s main beaches.
Tamarindo has grown into quite the surf destination thanks to year-round swell and an assortment of breaks for all levels of surfers. Beyond the surf, Costa Rica’s coastline is where the jungle meets the sea – a vibrant and tropical getaway for couples, friends, and families alike. It’s a laid back place where days start with surf and end with cervezas.
Villa Monoi is a four bedroom villa located only a two-minute walk to the beach at Playa Langosta. Perfect for those looking for a true vacation where they can unplug and recharge, the villa is extremely private and serene, with a large backyard surrounding the single story minimalist property.
It’s a design dream for modern lovers: think cleans lines, oversized windows, and a chef’s kitchen, all in a high contrast setting with luxe finishings. The collapsable doors of the dining and living area open completely to create a great indoor-outdoor room leading to the desert oasis vibe of the backyard and pool.
After you hit your daily surf quota, laze away around the pool, on the sand, or at the local taco stand knowing your peaceful retreat is never far off. Take it up a notch with activities like jungle zip lining, ATV-ing, sailing, and more.

Tamarindo, Costa Rica
On the northern Pacific Coast in the province of Guanacaste, Tamarindo has become one of the most developed and accessible beach towns in Costa Rica. Whereas many beach towns in the country are quiet and rural, Tamarindo offers a more lively experience complete with an abundance of restaurants, bars, beachfront lounges, and a buzzing nightlife.
Villa Monoi gives the best of both worlds – it’s tucked away in a quiet private community on the beach at Playa Langosta, yet only a 5-minute drive to the action of Tamarindo.
The Tamarindo area has seemingly endless activities and adventures to be found. Of course, it’s a prime area for surf, but you can also get into sportfishing, mountain biking, snorkeling, ziplining, diving, golf, volcano tours, and more.
You can either fly into Liberia Airport (LIR), which is the closest option, about an hour and 15-minute drive to Villa Monoi, or alternatively you can fly into San Jose Airport (SJO) which is a 4-hour drive. You can rent a car (which we recommend if you would like to explore the area and have total flexibility), or airport transfers can be arranged for an additional cost.
