Lush Palm Services FAQs
For most hotel, resort, and villa bookings, no. We can often secure the same publicly available rate while adding eligible advisor perks, preferred partner amenities, and VIP recognition where available.
For Surf Stay Lookbooks, the $199 fee is applied to your booking when you reserve one of your recommended stays through Lush Palm within 14 days of receiving your Lookbook.
For peak holiday dates, non-commissionable properties, multi-destination requests, or periods of highly limited availability, a separate planning or booking support fee may apply. If so, we’ll always let you know before moving forward.
Absolutely. Many of the trips we plan are designed for beginner and intermediate surfers, including travelers who are brand new to surfing or have never touched a surfboard before.
We’ll help guide you toward destinations, accommodations, coaches, and surf conditions that fit your level, so you can learn safely, build confidence, and enjoy the experience without feeling overwhelmed. Every trip is built around your group, dates, surf level, travel style, budget, and ideal experience, which means we are not simply booking a hotel or sending a standard itinerary.
The planning fee helps cover the time and expertise that go into designing the right trip from the ground up. This includes destination guidance, surf seasonality and conditions research, accommodation curation, local partner coordination, surf guide and coaching recommendations, logistics planning, restaurant and activity guidance, itinerary design, and ongoing support before, during, and after your trip.
We save you countless hours of research and trip planning, but for most clients, the value goes far beyond the time saved. It is in avoiding the wrong destination, the wrong waves, the wrong accommodation, or a trip that only works for part of the group. With real surf expertise, destination knowledge, and trusted local partners, we help you experience the right waves, the best of the destination, and a trip that feels thoughtful, seamless, and truly worth it.

For Tailor-Made Surf Trips, we recommend starting several months in advance when possible. For Christmas, New Year’s, spring break, summer holidays, or other high-demand periods, we highly recommend planning as far in advance as possible for the best availability and securing the right accommodations, guides, and experiences.
