The Surf
There are three main surf zones in the Maldives – the central atolls (Laamu), the southern atolls, and the Male atolls. Six Senses Laamu is located in the Laamu Atolls which are the least crowded surf zone in the Maldives and feature a number of quality waves. There’s a couple of fast rippable lefts only a short paddle from the resort beach, another wave that’s ideal for beginners, and right across the channel is Yin Yangs – a consistent spot with potential for perfect right hand barrels. Peak surf months are during the southeast monsoon season, which typically stretches from May through October.

– All villas can accommodate two adults plus two children under 12 years. The day bed will be turned into a sleeping bed and an extra rollaway bed will be provided. Beach villas are recommended for families with small children. 50% off on food for children between six to 11 years, and complimentary food for children five years and below.

Getting There
Fly into Male International Airport (MLE), and then there is a quick domestic flight and speedboat transfer to the resort. No need to worry about logistics, as these transfers will be arranged and booked upon making a reservation (and upon arrival the Six Senses Laamu Team will help make the transfers as smooth as possible).
At the Male Airport you’ll be escorted to the domestic terminal lounge for the 35-minute flight to Laamu’s Kadhdhoo Airport (VRMK) and a stunning bird’s-eye view of the beautiful Maldives Archipelago. Upon arrival at Laamu, there is a 15-minute speedboat transfer to Six Senses Laamu. The rate for transfers is $590 + 23.2% tax and service charge per person. $455 for those under 12 years old, and complimentary for infants.

PAYMENT POLICY
Reservations are to be guaranteed by credit card or bank transfer. Should guests wish to guarantee the booking by credit card, the Credit Card Authorization form needs to be completed and to be sent together with a copy of both sides of the credit card and a copy of the Card holder’s passport. Should guests wish to guarantee the booking by a Bank Transfer, we will send the invoice together with the resort’s Bank details. For reservations made for Peak Season (December 22 to January 7) the resort requires 100% of the total payment 90 days prior to arrival. For all the other seasons, the full payment is required 28 days prior to the arrival date.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellation policy (except for peak): – Unexpected departure from the resort will be charged as per the reserved booking. – Cancellations or amendments will not be accepted until they have been confirmed by the resort by return fax or email. – No penalty will be incurred if the cancellation is made more than 28 days before arrival day. – Cancellations made less than 28 days prior to arrival will incur a cancellation fee of 100% of the total value of booking or cancelled nights.
