The Surf
The Santa Teresa area has become one of Costa Rica’s most popular surf zones, boasting a wide variety of waves that are warm, fun, consistent, and user-friendly. Appropriate for all levels of surfers from beginner to advanced, waves in this region are best for beginners to intermediates during the dry summer months of mid-November through March. During the south swell season from April through October, the surf can sometimes get a bit bigger but with the help of a knowledgeable local surf guide, you can typically find suitable surf for all levels.
